"Yet I hold this against you ... You have forsaken your first Love.
Remember the height from which you have fallen!
Repent and do the things you did at first.
If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place."
Revelation 2:4-5

There is a term in legal communities:
"Alienation of Affection."
Some even still use it today as a claim in divorce proceedings, where another has been allowed to invade the marriage.
There is a term in the Christian community, called "Passion".
Most generally, this describes one's love and zeal for Christ, our first Love.
In every generation, from the beginning of time, a turning away from Christ, by many who have developed a lukewarm spirit, has taken place.
The cares and concerns, the enticements of the world, have captivated hearts and minds.
No longer do they have time to seek God each day, to set aside some private time with Him.
We all need to evaluate how much time we give Him, each day, and consider if we truly include Him, in our daily routines, which we are all caught up in.
It's never too late to restore that special relationship with God!
Just a simple change of mind, and the stirring of a heart, to call out to Him, is all it takes from us.
Once we repent and ask for His forgiveness, He will gladly see His children upon the right path once more, leading us to His heart and His righteousness ... the pathway leading to the safe place, His sanctuary, our home.
