Good Morning, Folks!!!

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him.
Isaiah 30:18

Don't speak to those who are experiencing long, dull pain about endurance. Your message may fall upon unappreciative ears.
We must consider, however, that whenever God ordains certain conditions in our lives, it is to teach us acceptance, with a dash of humility, as well.
Our ranting and raving brings no worthwhile result. It only proves how much we need to mature spiritually.
If we can just get to the point of resting in His Word, the exterior distractions, delays, and hindrances, become minute and meaningless.
After all, which is most important, our schedule or His divine purpose?
Wait patiently for the Lord. In due time, the blessing will manifest.
Enjoy the moment, for it shall never pass your way again.

I Waited for the Lord

I waited for the Lord my God,
and patiently did bear;
At length to me, He did incline
my voice and cry to hear.

He took me from a fearful pit,
and from the miry clay,
And on a rock He set my feet,
establishing my way.

He put a new song in my mouth,
Our God to magnify;
Many shall see it, and shall fear,
And on the Lord rely.

O, blessed is the man whose trust
upon the Lord relies;
Respecting not the proud,
nor such as turn aside to lies.

O, Lord my God,
full many are the wonders Thou
hast done;
Thy gracious thoughts to usward far
above all thoughts are gone.

Prayer Requests:

Pray for the gathering in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday, for those who attend the rally for the Ten Commandments.

Mary Ann - healing for fibromyalgia, arthritis, and pain.

Sam-experiencing numbness and tingling on right side of body; pray for healing.

Joseph, 2 years old - liver surgery.

Barb- cancer; pray for healing, comfort, and peace, renewed strength in body.

Communities without power.

Establishment of democracy in Liberia.

Students at VMI to be able to say prayers before their meals.

Let's all stand together, and pray for Barry Lynn of the ACLU, that God will give him a "Damascus Road" experience, just as He did, Paul; that his energies will be spent for Christ, rather than against. I believe that if we all stand together, God will show us His power. It is our responsibility to pray for this man.

Our military personnel - safety, protection, in all areas of duty.

Special Note:
The West Nile Virus is returning, along with mosquitoes. A simple remedy for getting rid of outdoor mosquitoes is to sit a white saucer, with a few squirts of Lemon Fresh Joy squirted into the saucer. They are drawn to the Joy, drink it, and die.
(I think they think it is a light bulb). I have notified a couple of local t.v. stations to alert viewers. Why don't you do the same? Could possibly save a life.

Have a safe and blessed weekend, Folks.

Good Morning, Folks!!

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and Your dominion endures through all
generations.
Psalm 145:13

Each morning, we see the glory of Our Almighty Father, as we awaken to greet another day.
The scenes surrounding us help us to realize His faithfulness, the sun helps us to realize His power, and the skies overhead
help us to be reminded of His mighty majesty.
The glory of the Lord shines all around us; is ever present.
Bask in His wonderful glory today, and may your life be filled with His continuing faithfulness. Depend upon Him, upon His faithfulness, upon His power, His dominion over all the earth.
Expect His glory to rule over your life today, and that good things will come your way.
The days may change, the situations of the day may change, but His glory is never ending, and is always the same.
Praise God.

The Splendor of Your Glory

Lord, I see the splendor of Your glory,
as I gaze across the land.
I know it is a glimpse of You,
for it was made by Your own hand.

I see Your love in every flower,
and in the majestic mountains high.
I see it in the seasons that change,
and in every bird that flies.

I see it in the babbling brook
and in the grassy fields of green.
I see it in the canyons deep
and in the tranquil country scenes.

Your love for us must be so great,
that nothing else would do,
But to give us Your very best,
to enjoy our whole lives through.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will
be at peace with you.
Job 5:23

If standing alone in a forest, one can close
the eyes, and become inundated with the
enchanting sounds and aromas of the forest. After a brief shower, the perceptions are even more intense.
Standing in silence, allows the spirit to bask in the supernatural realms of nature.
So it is, with our faith, as well. In order to close out the world, worldly things, we have to close our eyes to them, so that we may become strengthened and renewed in the spirit, taking needed rest in the private sanctuary of Almighty God.

My Silent Partner

God is always with me,
no matter where I go.
He is my silent Partner,
and I love Him so.

He walks with me in quiet solitude,
across the years of time.
And gives me strength and courage,
and a peaceful state of mind.

His breath is in the wind,
blowing through the meadows of gold;
His warmth is in the sunlight,
that touches the earth below.

His tears are in the raindrops,
that come from the sky above,
as He gently showers the earth,
with His blessings and His love.

Yes, God is my silent Partner,
My Savior and my Friend,
And He is always with me,
from dawn's first light to night's end.

Harken! The rally for the Ten Commandments has been moved up to the 16th of August (Saturday).
The group from Grassfire of Washington, DC will be joining our group, along with, hopefully, many Christian citizens of Montgomery, Alabama at the Federal building.
Pray for peaceful worship, praise, upon the streets of Montgomery, and for prayers to be answered.
Red t-shirts will be worn, to represent the blood of Jesus Christ. Praise God. Ask your local church to keep this effort in prayers.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

"This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," He said to them.

As we are washed and cleansed in the blood of Jesus Christ, we are fully confident that it is sufficient, that it is powerful, and that we have been purchased and redeemed by its outpouring, from all curses.
Jesus hung upon the Cross so that we may be able to overcome our problems, our struggles, just as He overcame the world, upon His Resurrection.
His blood is not just any blood, it is the Resurrected, come to life again, blood, and it is powerful enough to knock our strongest foe back on his heels and underneath our
feet.
Praise God.

His Love

As we turn the pages of our Bibles,
and feel as if all is lost,
We need only to remember,
the blessing of the Cross.

For though our crosses may seem heavy,
and often too exruciating to bear;
We know that Our Lord Jesus,
carried His, because He cared.

The power of the blood,
is sufficient for all that we seek.
It is forever flowing within us,
and reaches every crater of the
heart, so deep.

Good Morning, Folks!!

After the crowd had been put aside, He went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
Matthew 9:25

Sometimes, in order for us to receive our
miracles, we have to put the crowd, the group of naysayers, aside in our lives.
Those who mock and scorn only hinder themselves, the flow of blessings, and their spiritual progress, as well.
We have to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff and know those around us, who are truly interested in our well being,
trusting along with us, for God's purpose.
It is then that we will be able to see God's blessings flowing, without restrictions, flowing freely, not only filling our lives, but
the lives of others, as well.

Miracles

So many things I cannot do,
like changing skies of gray, to blue.
Nor can I bid the Winter go,
though weary of the ice and snow.

I canot touch the blue of sky,
or capture breezes sailing by.
Though silver raindrops gently fall,
the sunbeams I cannot recall.

Nor can I dress the naked trees,
or color lovely Autumn leaves.
The Winter winds I cannot calm,
or bring the day an early dawn.

These things I wasn't meant to do,
Sometimes successes seem so few,
yet lasting faith can still be mine;
A courage real, a hope divine.

I still accept God's plans for me,
and leave life's miracles to He.
