Good Morning, Folks.

I am out of town, and had prepared the daily devotionals for today,
but cannot access them from this computer. Will resume them on Monday.

I pray that you will have a blessed weekend, and welcome to the month of November.

Please continue to pray for Sam, he was able to move his thumb this morning, for the first time. Thanks for prayers. Recovery from a stroke can sometimes take awhile. God is good, and I know that He
is in control.

I was able to interpret a dream for a lady this morning, and we are about to see a
move of the Holy Spirit fire sweep across our nation, as never before. I think it is
going to begin in New York City.
People walking on streets will be instantly healed, and I believe the lame will walk.
Believers and non-believers alike, are going to praise the name of God.
We have witnessed the power of evil upon our land, and now we are going to witness
the power of Almighty God. Praise the Lord.
We are going to have our days of Pentacost, and this will be mighty.

Have a safe and blessed weekend, Sandra

Good Morning, Folks!!

Restore us, O God; make Your face shine
upon us, that we may be saved.
Psalm 80:3

Sometimes, we may bargain for something, thinking we are receiving
the cream of the crop, and then learn quickly that we have received the lemon,
instead, without any juice.
With God, it makes no difference what has happened yesterday. He can
take whatever we have in our hands, and show us ways to improve our circumstances,
our situations, which we would never think of.
He knows all, and has all the contacts.
All we need to do is trust. He will restore.
Praise Our Father God.

Sing a little song of trust,
O my heart!
Sing it just because you must,
As leaves start;
As flowers push their way through dust;
Sing, my heart, because you must.

Wait not for an eager throng,
bird on bird;
'tis the solitary song
that is heard.

Every voice at dawn will start,
be a nightingale, my heart!

Sing across the winter snow,
pierce the cloud;
Sing when mists are drooping low,
clear and loud;
But sing sweetest in the dark;
He who slumbers not will hark.

Songs are better than sorrowful cries;
He knows how, when, what and why.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts
the needy from the ash heap. . .
I Samuel 2:6

Yesterday, in the pouring rain, I glanced from the busy highway
alongside the exit ramp, to a knoll, which rose beside the busy,
rushing traffic.
There I saw, a little man, stooped, walking with a cane, inching
his way, to the shelter of a cluster of trees; his home,
his refuge, from the storm.
I cannot get this image from my mind.
It dawned on me, that most likely,
within that hidden harborage, were more
just like him, a hidden society, seeking shelter from
the elements, the weather.
It is, indeed, a sad and sobering thought.
I longed to know their stories, and
wanted to tell them about the love of Jesus
Christ, and wished at that moment, that
I had a facility to house them, to feed them,
and give them a warm meal.
There are so many homeless around us,
so many seeking shelter from the storms,
and we need to get the Word to them, that
there is Hope for their futures, and that
God is the safe Refuge, Whom we all seek.
Our Lord Jesus is able to lift us up
from the ash heap, and we are truly blessed.

God's Provisions

He is my strength
in present lack;
the moving forward,
even when there seems no progress.

He is my freedom when self would
imprison;
The victory that overcomes the darkest
hour.

He is the Peace with arms outstretched,
to free the inner toil;
He is my sheild and advocate,
A shelter from the storm.
~~Roxie Lusk Smith~~

Dear Father,
We lift up the needy in our midst
today, who have no home, no shelter,
no refuge from the storms.
Father, we ask that Your Presence
linger near them, keeping them warm,
keeping them safe, and keeping them
protected, from the conditions, the
sorrows, which bring such pain,
such lack in their lives.
Father, help us, enable us, empower us,
to reach out to those in need,
to those who have no one to turn to,
and may we show Your goodness,
Your love, Your mercy, to them,
in ways they have never seen.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, trust,
and we believe, and thank You, Father.
Amen.

Prayer Request:
Pray for me, that God will move mightily in my life, so that
I may be able to reach out more, to those just like I saw yesterday.
There are many to help, and many to bring to Him, and God's people
need to do that.
We need to help those who are in need and
we need to show them His care. May He
enable me to do that, in some way.

For Monday, October 29, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary,
but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18

The blood of Jesus Christ has redeemed
Christians from darkness into light.
Our faith propels us to rise up in confidence, in anticipation of
blessings which stem from surfacing troubles.
In order for the waters to be stilled, there has to be a storm.
Our faith is blind and it all depends upon which set of eyes we choose
to view our circumstances, with our natural eyes,
or with our spiritual eyes, that we find peace.

Rest Thou My Mind

Rest Thou my mind in Thee, Dear Lord,
Give to me sweet repose;
Take weary flesh and troubled mind,
In peace, my eyelids close.

I've labored in Thy fields today,
the harvest fields to reap,
And now in quiet evening's hour,
Give to Thy servant sleep.

I rest in Thee, complete, secure,
For in my soul is peace,
For Thou didst wash me clean today,
and gave my soul release.

Dear God, I thank Thee here alone,
As on my bed I pray,
That Thou didst walk beside me,
throughout the heat of day.

And now, I rest in Thee alone,
nor darkest night would fear,
For in the closing of my eyes,
I know that Thou art near.

Good Morning, Folks!!

"I have told you these things, so that in Me, you may have peace.
In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have
overcome the world."

As we relate to one another, we often use
descriptive words, which are called adjectives, in our language.
Upon consideration of the enemy, and the plans which God has
for him, we know that he is a defeated foe.
If we can picture the enemy, in our mind's eye, as being defeated,
we should pay no heed to his roars, his ramblings, his lies, and threats.
Why would we want to listen to someone who is defeated already?
He certainly cannot advise us on how to become winners, conquerors,
victorious, over our circumstances. He hasn't conquered his, and he never will.
Amen?

With each new rising of the sun,
we have the power to think of
our future, as having just begun.

We can release the pain of yesterday,
and know that the sunset of yesterday, took it away.

We have the power of Almighty God,
to walk alongside, each step of the way.
Today brings new promise,
new visions, new dreams,
and today is a brand new day.

I look ahead with anticipation,
eager to see what He has planned,
because He holds the key for all success,
as He keeps us in the palm, of His hand.
