Please continue to pray for my brother, Sam, for a miracle healing. His voice is much stronger
today, and I am praying for daily improvements, daily miracles. God is good. Pray that he will
remain encouraged, and will continue to fight for restoration.
I believe he will make great strides. Thanks for all the notes, the prayers.
He remains in the hospital and will have a catscan tomorrow.
Correction:
The website of Erin Runnion's in honor of her daughter, Samantha, may be accessed

She had inadvertently left out the word "The" in her letter to me.
Pray for one another today, for strength, for peace, for provision, and for blessings.
Our Voyage
Our lives are like a voyage,
out upon the open sea;
we do not know the waves which lie ahead,
or where we may be.
But, one thing for sure is certain,
that God is most powerful over all,
and as we sail along our way,
He is within our call.
We may gaze at the beauty of a sunset,
or we may complain at set of sun;
But, if we look upon our lives,
as His vessels,
we may smile when day is done.
I have posted all the back devotionals to the
Morning Glorythoughts site today. I hope they post without any problem.

"If any of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep
warm and well fed; but does nothing about his
physical needs, what good is it?"
James 2:16
May the Lord bless you from Zion all the days of your life; may you see
the prosperity of Jerusalem,
and may you live to see your children's children.
Psalm 128:5
Whenever we begin to grow spiritually, we realize that our family circles include
those whom we are not biologically related to, but also those who are
blood related through Jesus Christ.
We can then understand how one life affects another, and how we all
affect the whole.
We may not be acquainted with someone who
may suffer unjustifiably today, but in the months and
years ahead, there may be a law to become passed in Legislature, which will affect us
all, from the injustice.
Every day we are reminded, that our lives touch,
our minds cross, and our hearts are joined. Every day we are reminded, that we all
belong to Him. I thank God for my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Praise Our Lord.

"For all the beauties of the day,
The innocence of childhood's play,
For health and strength and laughter sweet,
Dear Lord, our thanks we now repeat.
For this our daily gift of food,
We offer now our gratitude,
For all the blessings we have known,
Or debt of gratefulness we own.
Here at the table now we pray,
Keep us together down the way;
May this, our family circle,
be held fast by love and unity.
Grant, when the shades of night shall fall,
Sweet be the dreams of one and all;
And when another day shall break,
Unto Thy service, may we wake.

While sitting here in Pensacola, Florida today,
with weather conditions uncertain, it has been reassuring to us,
that God is in control.
Assurance
"In a world of fickle loyalties and unkept promises,
we can count on You, our "no matter what" God.
Like a roof, You are over our heads, sheltering us.
Like the horizon, Your life-changing power stretches beyond us, and like water
in the rivers, oceans, and
the essence of Life that flows through our veins,
You are within us. Most of all, no matter what distracts and tempts us, we
know that, like fish in the sea, we are in You."
~~Unknown~~
Dear Father,
Today, we thank Thee that we have assurance in You, confidence in Your power,
and that we can hide underneath the shelter of Your mighty wings, from all storms.
Father, whenever storms rage around us, whenever the tides roll and furl
tempestuously, we may have the perfect peace of Thy great power, and
we are thankful.
You truly are our "no matter what" God, and we
acknowledge You, with all our heart, mind, and soul.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, and thank You, Father, praising Thy great
power, more and more,
Amen.

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words
of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.
John 3:33
By the words of Our Father, the springs of our souls open and awaken
the canyons of the Spirit, spilling forth, tumbling over underlying roughly-hewn rocks,
with love, kindness, compassion, and joy.
By a move of the Holy Spirit, wisdom and knowledge come along to supply the
sustenance of faith.
All of these combined, produce a powerful witness and testimony, and cause the
blind to see.
Praise God.

Dear Father,
Thank You for the words which You supply each day, so that Your righteousness
and goodness may be shared.
Father, I truly am a communicative spirit, as we all are, and without the
ability to communicate, we surely would be insufficient to carry out Your plans,
and to face each new day.
Teach us, Father, how to honor Thee with the fruit of our lips, in all communications,
and bring us wisdom in our choice of words, so that we do not offend.
I open up my soul, so that You may prosper the springs of living waters within,
so that they flow serenely upon the rocks and tundras of my
world.
I give Thee thanks and praise, Father, for Thy
great love, and for the words which I use, to
express myself, and to share my love for You.
In Jesus' name, I pray, trust, and believe, and I
love You, Father. Amen.

But Jacob said, "Swear to me first." So he (Esau)
swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
Genesis 25:33
Jacob had been watching for the perfect opportunity to approach Esau about his birthright.
Whenever Esau's body was hungering for something to eat, Jacob took advantage and
made the offer to purchase Esau's birthright with the promise of food.
Esau, in an impulsive act, sold his birthright and by doing so, was cutting himself
short of blessings which had been planned for him.
I wonder how many times we have shorted ourselves of blessings, settling for something less?
God has made the best plans for us, and has planned blessings for us all along our way. Our
inheritances, as children of the Almighty God, are precious and we should not be hasty in making
any decision which could cause us, to settle for less than the best, His best.

Jesus, Thou Joy of Loving Hearts
Jesus, Thou Joy of loving hearts,
Thou Fount of life, Thou Light of men,
From the poor bliss that earth imparts,
We turn unfilled to Thee again.
Thy truth unchanged hath ever stood;
Thou savest those that on Thee call;
To them that seek Thee, Thou art good,
To them that find Thee, all in all.
We taste Thee, O Thou Living Bread,
And long to feast uponThee still;
We drink of Thee, the Fountainhead,
And thirst our souls from Thee to fill.
Our restless spirits yearn for Thee,
Wherever our changeful lot is cast;
Glad when Thy gracious smile we see,
Blessed when our faith can hold Thee fast.
O Jesus, ever with us stay,
Make all our moments calm and bright,
Chase the dark night of sin away,
Shed over the world, Thy Holy Light.

"Taken aside by Jesus,
to feel the touch of His hand;
To rest for a while in the shadow,
of the Rock in a weary land.
Taken aside by Jesus,
In the loneliness dark and drear,
Where no other comfort may reach me,
Than His voice, to my heart so dear.
Taken aside by Jesus,
To be quite alone with Him,
To hear His wonderful tones of love,
'Mid the silence and shadows dim.
Taken aside by Jesus,
Shall I shrink from the desert place;
When I hear, as I never heard before,
And see Him, "face to face"?

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10
Good morning, Lord, the night has passed,
Just as You said it would.
And once again, I gaze upon
Your world and find it good.
The darkness fades, as darkness will,
and so my heart is light.
For You await to share my day,
Who watched me through the night.
I cannot see what lies ahead,
but I am sure You know.
So, take my hand and walk with me,
wherever I may go.
No joy or pain is ever sent,
Save by Thine own accord.
So, in the shadow of Thy love,
I say. . . "Good Morning, Lord."
