For Friday, April 19, 2002

Good Morning, Folks!!!

For You, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before
the Lord in the land of the living.
Psalm 116:8-9

In times of emotional stress, it may be difficult for us to get a
grasp on our true feelings.
Betrayals can send us reeling backwards, especially if unexpected,
and bitterness seems to surface.
Emotional pain creates an open wound in the heart, which takes
time to heal.
We must remember that Our Father God is in control, is aware of
all the sorrow, and it is important that we surrender any temptation to
retaliate completely to Him.
If one stands at the window of the heart, the window which God peers through,
keeps Him in focus and submits, He will create a much more
beautiful view of the whole picture, and from a completely different
perspective, and always one in which we shall receive a blessing,
guarding us, protecting us, loving us.
Praise the Lord.

Through the Darkness to the Dawn
My heart was sorely aching
And through tears I could not see;
I'd felt I'd lost tomorrow,
That there was no hope for me.

But supporting and consoling,
My Lord did not depart,
For I could always see Him,
Through the window of my heart.

Then, my burdens somehow vanished
With the coming of the dawn,
My blinding tears subsided,
And my doubts and fears were gone.

He helped me past the shadows
Till I was whole again,
And whatever may beset me,
I know He will remain.

Have a safe and blessed weekend, Family.

Pray for all those who are in emotional pain today. Remember to
pray for those who have left Prayer Requests. I tell everybody that I
have the best prayer team on the internet, and I believe that I do. :-)

Good Morning, Folks!!!

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same
Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him. . .
Romans 10:12

Blessings are bestowed upon us in many ways, and we receive
blessings at times, without even realizing.
I am certain that God commands angels each day to minister blessings
upon each of us, and we can also be certain that as He
blesses us, He takes great delight in doing so, as our Divine Father
God.

What Is a Blessing?
What is a blessing in this life?
It is a kindly nod,
The sunshine of a special smile
Bestowed on us by God.

A blessing is the timely hand
That stays calamity,
Or keeps us calm and sensible
When there is tragedy.

It is each rung we reach upon
Our ladder to success,
And everything along our way
That brings us happiness.

A blessing is our loving spouse,
The baby in our arms,
And life itself upon this earth
With all its dreams and charms.

Each blessing means so very much
We should take time to say,
A prayer of gratitude to God
For helping us each day.

Note: Please help us to pray for those in need, who have left
prayer requests. Thanks.

Good Morning, Folks!!!

". . . I will bring him near and he will come close to Me,
for who is he who will devote himself to be close to Me?"
declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 30:21

While lost in the busyness of the day, often we may become
overwhelmed and in need of taking a few moments just to spend
alone with God.
Walking away from ringing telephones, endless chatter, and
annoying interruptions can bring such sweet solace, as we seek Him
out to lean upon Him, to acknowledge His Presence.
Like a close, trusted, and dear Friend, He is always there
with a listening ear, and the willingness to extend His peace, borne on the
wings of an angel, commanded just for you.

Precious Moments

The moments I spend with You, God,
are more precious than gold to me,
for it's You Who keeps my ship afloat
on life's ever turbulent sea.

When the waters are dark and foreboding,
and storm clouds loom ahead,
If I turn to You, the waters are blue,
with bright, sunny skies instead.

Whithout You, God, I am nothing,
a ship without a sail,
a life without a purpose,
my efforts, of no avail!

You are the Light that guides me,
across life's turbulent sea,
and each moment I spend with You,
is more precious than gold to me!
~~~~Doris A. Orth~~~~
Dear Father,
For each one that comes to seek You today, in their
busyness, in their burdens, in their cares, please command
an angel just for them, to bear Your love, Your tenderness,
Your compassion, sent straight from Heaven.
Father, take these burdens and exchange them for Your
yoke, which is light, and strengthen them today, to continue
on with their duties, their activities, in the fullness of Thy
great measure, in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, sweeping
across their minds, and indwelling their hearts, until they have the
most perfect peace, the peace which comes only from You.
Thank You, Father, for a day filled with Your Sonshine,
Your Light, and Your grace.
In the name of Jesus, I pray, trust, and believe as I ask,
that this shall be done, and I give You all the praise,
honor, and thanks, Father. Amen
those who have left Prayer Requests. May
God bless each of you today.
Continue prayers for Colin Powell, for his
peace mission in the Middle East, for the
Holy Spirit to move upon those in command,
to show compassion for their countrymen,
their fellowman.
Good Morning, Folks !!!
To the faithful, You show Yourself faithful . . .
2 Samuel 22:26
Knowing the love of Christ, the love of the Sacrifice, should bring
assurance that, as His children, His love is more than able to sustain
us on the journeys that we have embarked upon.
Time and again, those in Ages past were delivered, healed,
strengthened, set free, and provided for, and most often in times
which looked hopeless to them.
There is no difference in our journeys today; it is trust which
brings us over the hills and out of the valleys, into our Promised
Land. Walking in trust brings us out of the ridges and ruts
of doubt, and into the steady stream of blessings.
Trust Him.
This God Gives to Me
He gives me strength and courage
When failure comes my way.
He is my Inspiration
To face each newborn day.
He comforts and sustains me
When efforts seem in vain.
He is my Consolation
In times of grief and pain.
He is my Friend when others
Refuse to lend an ear,
And in my hours of loneliness
I know that He is near.
He never will forsake me,
Imperfect though I be,
For with my many faults and sins,
I know that He loves me.
